Language courses in Tenerife
Tenerife offers beautiful beaches and is not just a paradise for surfers and divers. The Canary Island has a mild climate and therefore is considered the "Island of Eternal Spring". Tenerife is also famous for its carnival which is celebrated all over the Island. The school is located in Puerto de la Cruz in the tourist centre of the north coast. A highlight of the city is the "Loro Parque" with its beautiful botanical garden, many animal species and spectacular shows. The centre of the city is the Plaza de Charco where locals meet each other in the many bars and restaurants. Tenerife is the ideal place for a language course all year round for people of all ages.
The Intensive language course includes 20 hours of lessons per week (Mon-Fri) and an additional 5 hours of Spanish culture. The 5 cultural lessons cover various aspects of Spanish and Latin American culture and civilization. These classes are available five times per week and are complementary to the regular courses. The maximum number of students in these classes is 16. Lessons take place in small groups of 4-12 students. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate.
You can decide the schedule and content of the program. Within a short period of time, you will begin to learn Spanish through an individualized course of study in grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing and vocabulary.
Individual problems and professional interests can be specifically addressed. Flexibility concerning the duration, lessons and topics: general spanish, conversation, grammar, correspondence, translation, etc.
The Intensive language course includes 30 hours of lessons per week (Mon-Fri) and an additional 5 hours individual course (one to one). Lessons take place in small groups of 4-10 students. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate. Textbook + exercise book: 35€ per set.
Information about school
The School of Puerto de la Cruz is ideally located just five minutes away from the beach Martiánez and only two minutes from the Lagos Martiánez. The town hall can be reached in approximately ten minutes by foot.
The school is located in a traditional house and has seven modern classrooms. The students can relax in the courtyard or in the students lounge and can also use the library.
Courses start every Monday with the exceptions of complete beginners – usually only on the first week of the month.
