Pamplona is thecapital of the autonomous region of Navarra, which is located in northern Spain. The city has about 200,000 inhabitants and is located on a small plateau on the river Arga. Pamplona is famous for the San Fermin festival which is celebrated every year in July. One of the biggest attractions is the famous running of the bulls. Courses start every Monday with the exceptions of complete beginners – usually only on the first week of the month.
