Internship in China
China is almost as big as the whole of Europe. Being able to speak Chinese and to have a good knowledge of the Chinese mentality, culture and way of working, are becoming more and more frequently treasured bonus points for CV´s. For this reason, an internship in China is not only an appealing experience, but also an advantageous opportunity to train for your future career. Over the last few years, China has taken a giant leap forward economically. Alongside the capital Beijing, Shanghai has also become one of the most important centres for trade and the economy.
The placement generally takes place in Chinese, although for some internships, knowledge of the English language is sufficient.

Cities You can choose between Beijing and Shanghai. Other cities are possible upon request.
Length of internship: From four to twelve weeks.
Start date: Every Monday, all year round.
Accommodation: Host family or shared apartment.
Language courses: The internship may be booked without a language course. PractiGo generally recommends a preparatory language course (at least 2 weeks), in order to become acclimatised.
Specifics: You decide when, where and in which area the internship is to be carried out. You will receive the information on your work placement during the preparatory language course.
Language skills: You should have a good grasp of written and spoken Chinese or English. You can learn the language or refresh your knowledge with a preparatory course.
Practical experience: Professional experience is not compulsory, although some experience in the area of work is an advantage.
Minimum age: 18 years-old.
Nationality: Eu citizens, Swiss nationals, others possible upon request.
Closing date for applications: Approx. two or three months prior to starting the internship. In urgent cases, please call us as we are able to organize express work placements.
