Volunteer in Goa, India

The volunteer work program in Goa takes place near Majorda Beach (south Goa). Upon arriving, you will be picked up from the airport by our Indian partner organization and taken to the volunteer camp where you will be staying for the time of your visit. In the following two days you will attend an orientation workshop and get to know the different projects.

From Thursday on your voluntary work starts in the different projects. These are always projects in the area of social work (i.e. Childcare-Center, work with HIV sufferers or disabled children). The volunteer house is located near Majorda Beach. You will share a room with other volunteers from around the globe (4 people). Foodwise you will be taken care of as the local staff prepares typical Indian vegetarian meals for all participants.

Conditions

•Minimum age: 18 (maximum age: 30 years).

•Start date: Every second Monday, all year round.

•Duration: 2–8 weeks (longer upon request).

•Language skills: A good grasp of English is required. We can organize a language course if it is needed.

•Required lead-time for applications: Approx. 2 or 3 months before your departure. In urgent cases, please call us immediately, so that we can check availability.

•Nationalities: All nationalities can take part in this program.

•Insurance: Before you start your Volunteer Programme we require proof of your health-, liability- and accident-insurance for the full duration of your stay.
