From the giant Amazonian area, across the rugged Andes and snow-covered volcanoes to the natural paradise of the Galapagos Islands: A suitable destination for an excursion can be found for all tastes in Ecuador. The capital city Quito is surrounded by numerous volcanoes, making the region highly fertile. Thanks to its well preserved historic centre, Quito was the first city to be declared world heritage by UNESCO. In this country you will meet open, good-hearted people, who will make it easy for you to settle in ready to begin your internship in Quito or Galapagos.

Length of internship: From four to twelve weeks.
Start date: Every Monday, all year round.
Accommodation: Host family or shared apartment.
Language courses: The internship may be booked without a language course. PractiGo generally recommends a preparatory two-week language course, in order to become acclimatised.
Specifics: You decide when, where and in which area the internship is to be carried out. You will receive the information on your work placement two or three weeks at the latest before it is due to start.

Requirements
Language skills: You should have a good grasp of written and spoken Spanish. You can learn the language or refresh your knowledge with a preparatory course.
Practical experience: Professional experience is not compulsory, although some experience in the area of work is an advantage.
Minimum age: 18.
Nationality: Eu citizens, Swiss nationals, others possible upon request.
Closing date for applications: Approx. two or three months prior to starting the internship. In urgent cases, please call us as we are able to organize express work placements.
